Screens for lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury by inductively coupled plasma mass spec.
Detects bacterial endotoxin levels using a Limulus amebocyte lysate (LAL) assay.
Checks the batch for microbial growth under controlled culture conditions.
Records the physical form, color and clarity of the lyophilized or reconstituted product.
